The Fiddler From the Mountain of Fire is a collection of 15 original tunes by Rebecca Clare Douglas inspired by the landscape, history and folklore of the Ingleborough area. The tunes, written in treble clef and with suggested guitar chords, are presented with commentary by Clare and are illustrated with vibrant photographs by Mike Farrington and others. Performed by Clare's duo, Douglas and Moss, this is a studio recording of the tunes written by Clare during the lockdown of 2020.
The tunes, all inspired by the landscape, history and folklore of the Ingleborough area, were recorded on a stormy October day in 2023 near Giggleswick, North Yorkshire
